Anyone got error while flashing GCC sdk image to PADI Stamp via JLink?
With IAR 7.8, I can flash the image successfully. But GCC SDK does not.

Thanks.

Hello guys, both SDK (v3.5 and v4.0) suitable for the RTL8710AF module?

As I saw default config: -DCONFIG_PLATFORM_8195A. is it ok for RTL8710AF? What defines should I change to get the image for RTL8710AF?

Well, I flashed my module and it still works.
But as I know RTL8710AF doesn't have NFC, DAC,.. and frequency musbe up to 83.3MHz

Current config has following defines:

Code: Select all

#define CONFIG_CPU_166_6MHZ 1
#define CONFIG_USB_EN 1
#define CONFIG_NFC_EN 1
#define CONFIG_NFC_NORMAL 1

So, should I disable unused periphery for normal work?

The SDK included a project for EWARM(https://www.iar.com/) and GCC so you can use Eclipse+GCC.

Another Ameba SDK + IDE suggestion would be JetBrain's CLion, which is a primarily C/C++ IDE based around CMake. Not free but, as tends to be the case with JetBrains, well worth the cost, even for a hobbyist.
